PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of holding devices and a delivery method of the same by which a minute article is held and is directly delivered from one holding device to the other holding device.SOLUTION: A pair of article holding devices includes first and second holding devices 10, 20. Both of the first and second holding devices are provided with sleeves 30, 30A formed of nonmagnetic material, linear actuators 35, 35a in which movable rods 37, 37a linearly moving in an axial direction of the sleeves are inserted in the sleeves, magnet units 40, 40a which are directly or indirectly fixed on the movable rods, are stored in the sleeve, and are structured of one permanent magnet or a combination of a plurality of magnetic members including at least one permanent magnet. A front end surface 47 of the magnet unit of the first holding device and a front end surface 47a of the magnet unit of the second holding device are first magnetic poles of the same kind.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
