PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a cutter pass that enables interrupted cutting without deteriorating a surface quality and a tool life in the interrupted cutting for preventing the occurrence of long chips in the turning machining.SOLUTION: In the cutting area of a turning machining step, the cutting is performed from a cutting starting point P1 to a position P2 advancing by only an interrupted cutting distance L3, and a tool is moved in the direction apart from a material to a relief position P3 determined on a relief angle A1 and a relief amount L4 to the position P2, and then a cutter pass for reopening the cutting after returning to the P2. After that, a cutter pass for repeating an operation of reopening the cutting is generated after releasing to the relief position and putting returning movement whenever cutting by the L3, and numerical control information for intermittently cutting the whole cutting area is created.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
