<p>The invention concerns a multipurpose reeling shaft for a material handling gate comprising a substantially cylindrical drum (1) with a fitting (3) at each end, said drum (1) being at least partially hollow so as to define an inner part with a shaped internal surface having a non-constant radius, each fitting (3) comprising a sleeve (5) adapted to be inserted in the drum (1) at the shaped internal surface. The invention is characterised in that the sleeve (5) has a shaped external surface matching that of the drum (1) such that the two shaped surfaces are in contact over the greater part of their outlines thereby locking the fittings (3) in rotation in the drum (1).</p> |
