<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the expressive power of a portrait image. <P>SOLUTION: A face contour area determining part 14 determines a face contour area on the basis of detected feature points, a skin reference color extracting part 17A extracts a skin reference color from the face contour area, and a skin color adjusting part 18A adjusts the skin reference color into a color for a portrait image. A hair area determining part 15 determines a hair area on the basis of detected feature points, a hair reference color extracting part 17B extracts a hair reference color from the hair area, and a hair color adjusting part 18B adjusts the hair reference color into a color for a portrait image. An illustration image color adjusting part 18C adjusts a color of an illustration image selected by a part area processing part 16 into a color for a portrait image on the basis of a part reference color extracted by a part reference color extracting part 17C. Then, a drawing generating part 19 performs drawing using the color for a portrait image adjusted by a color adjusting part 18 to generate a portrait image.
