<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct an error in estimated attitude of a movable camera. <P>SOLUTION: A camera serves as at least a part of a camera system which generates an output image based upon the camera attitude. Progressive attitude measured values of the camera is acquired with time and used to estimate a camera attitude. Here, the estimated camera attitude includes an error. A correction amount for the attitude is determined based upon the difference between the absolute attitude measured value of the camera and the estimated camera attitude. A change rate of a camera image generated by change of the camera is monitored. A parameter of the camera system is periodically adjusted based upon the progressive attitude measured values. The adjustment is set so as to make attitude correction for correcting the error of the estimated camera attitude, and the attitude correction is made at a rate based upon the monitored change rate of the camera image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
