METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TREATING KNIT-FINISHING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a knit-finishing material capable of simply and economically satisfying needs to enhance aesthetic appearance of a knitting material and, on the other hand, avoiding referred defects at the same time. SOLUTION: The aesthetic appearance of a fabric is enhanced with giving wool/velvet effects by carrying out needling on a primary layer of the fabric by feeding at least one layer of a knit-finishing material 2 and a certain amount of fibers of the material appear on a second surface from the primary layer. This method is applicable by overlapping two layers of the fabric and carrying out needling from the both external surfaces.
