<p>A shunt resistance, comprising a generally flat plate-shaped resistance body (10) having a specified resistance value, a first fixed terminal plate (20) having one end part (21) connected to one end edge of the resistance body (10), and a second fixed terminal plate (30) having one end part (31) connected to the other end edge of the resistance body (10) and a portion near the end part (31) bent generally in U-shape and opposed to the resistance body (10) and at least a part of the first fixed terminal plate (20), wherein a plurality of terminal pieces (12) for extracting the voltage drop of the resistance body (10) as a voltage signal are projected from the side end edge of the resistance body (10), and leads (40) are connected to the terminal pieces (12), whereby the degree of freedom in design can be increased since a conventional structural limitation such that the side direction of the resistance body (10) must be open is eliminated.</p> |
