PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method capable of obtaining an excellent bead shape at high efficiency by combining a gas-shielded arc welding method and a plasma welding method. SOLUTION: In the plasma arc hybrid welding method combining and using a non-consumable electrode type plasma welding method and a consumable electrode type gas-shielded arc welding method, both the plasma welding method and gas-shielded arc welding method are performed in straight polarity, and the distance between an electrode in the plasma welding method and an electrode in the gas-shielded arc welding method is controlled to≤50 mm.
