PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a masking sheet that is easily peelable and yet exhibits durability against a heated alkali aqueous solution while preventing generation of floating in a treatment with a heated alkali aqueous solution. SOLUTION: A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed of a water-dispersible pressure-sensitive adhesive is laminated on at least one surface of a substrate formed of a polyolefin. The water-dispersible pressure-sensitive adhesive has a gel fraction of at least 85 wt.% when immersed in ethyl acetate and has a glass transition temperature of -35°C or higher calculated according to the Fox equation. The masking sheet partially protects an adherend to be treated with the alkali aqueous solution. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
