<p>Provided are a device and a method for styling of hair capable of reducing damage to hair, keeping the elasticity and the texture of hair, and holding hair style for a long period. The device comprises an arm body (2) constituted by connection of an arm (2A) and an arm (2B) to each other, a vibration means (3), and a vibration body (9). The arm body (2) is so constituted as to be capable of holding and releasing the hair. The vibration generated by the vibration means (3) has a predetermined frequency of 1 to 20,000 Hz. The vibration body (9) is so constituted as to be capable of sliding along the longitudinal directions of the arms (2A, 2B), and transmitting the vibration from the vibration means onto the hair held by the arm body (2) while sliding.</p> |
