PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably purify water in a water container, in a humidity controller for controlling the humidity of the air in a room and the like. SOLUTION: This humidity controller comprises a first container 51 for storing water, and a humidifying means 43 distributing the water supplied from the first container 51 into air. This humidity controller comprises a discharging portion 53 provided with a discharge electrode 55 to allow discharge toward the water supplied to the humidifying means 43 from the first container 51, and a water level control means 71 controlling a water level in the discharging portion 53 constant between the first container 51 and the humidifying means 43.
