PURPOSE: A Zigbee communication method and a Zigbee terminal for preventing power consumption are provided to prevent power consumption by processing transmission data packet. CONSTITUTION: A packet receiver(310) receives a zigbee packet including a zigbee ID field from a zigbee server in a standby mode. A packet analyzer(320) confirms whether the packet is transmitted to the user by using zigbee ID while maintaining a waiting mode. A mode controller(330) changes the waiting mode into a transceiving mode. An application unit(340) processes the received packet and performs an operation according to the packet. |
