PURPOSE: A construction block for a breakwater and a construction method for a breakwater using the same are provided to minimize damage to the construction block and a breakwater by minimizing shock from waves using a shock absorbing pad. CONSTITUTION: A construction block(1) for a breakwater comprises a main body(10), a connection groove(14), a connection protrusion(14a), a support(15), a coupling groove(16), and a coupling protrusion(16a). The main body is inserted into a fixed shaft fixed to a sea bottom and has an inner filling space(12). The filling space is filled with filler, such as riprap and soil. The connection groove and the connection protrusion are formed on both side surfaces of the main body. The support is protruded from the rear surface of the main body and supports the main body. The coupling groove and the coupling protrusion are formed on the top and bottom surfaces of the main body. |
