PURPOSE: A data display method of a portable terminal and portable terminal applying the same are provided to offer the convenience of a user by displaying communication log information according to time. CONSTITUTION: A main screen is displayed(S1). Communication log information is displayed on the main screen according to time. The communication log information is generated(S3). Time information in which is related to the generation of the communication log information, opponent display icons, and event icons are displayed on the main screen(S5). The communication log information includes the event occurrence information.
