PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc welding system by which the breaking of the shape of a bead is suppressible.SOLUTION: The arc welding system includes: a feeding device for sending out a consumable electrode toward a welding torch; a route length changing device for periodically changing a feeding route length which is the length from the feeding device to the welding torch in the axial direction of the consumable electrode, in the consumable electrode; a power source circuit for making a welding current flow between the consumable electrode and a base material; and a feed control circuit for transmitting a feed stop directing signal, for stopping the driving of the feeding device, to the feeding device. The route length changing device reduces the frequency Ff of the feeding route length when the feed stop directing signal is generated at a time t21. Because of such a constitution, it is suppressible that the shape of the bead which is formed at and after the time t21 is broken. |
