PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust the suction force of a suction mechanism in a paper feeder.SOLUTION: A leading edge detector LD detects the passing of the leading edge of a corrugated paper sheet fed by paper feed rolls 13A-13D, and a trailing edge detector TD detects the passing of the trailing edge of the corrugated paper sheet sent from a paper feeder 4. Determination parts S11, S12 determine whether or not the leading edge is shifted in feeding when the passing of the leading edge of the corrugated paper sheet is detected, and determine whether or not the trailing edge is shifted in feeding when the passing of the trailing edge of the corrugated paper sheet is detected. Instruction generating parts S15, S22 generate a suction increase signal for instructing an increase in suction force of a suction mechanism 14 for sucking the corrugated paper sheet when the leading edge is determined to shift in feeding, and generate a suction decrease signal for instructing a decrease in suction force of the suction mechanism 14 when the leading edge is determined not to shift in feeding and also the trailing edge is determined to shift in feeding. |
