PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce adhesion and the like of dirt in a drain part of a sink and reduce a cleaning burden of a user by effectively decomposing dirt and the like by making light penetrate a drain cylinder in the drain part of the sink to irradiate a photocatalyst applied to the inner surface of the drain cylinder to activate the photocatalyst.SOLUTION: A drain cylinder 7 is provided which is disposed downward from a bottom surface 3 of a sink 2 and connected with a tubular drain passage 8 on a downstream side in a flow direction of drain water. A coating layer 28 of a photocatalyst is applied to the inner surface side of the drain cylinder 7. LED light sources 32 are disposed around an outer periphery of the drain cylinder 7. Light of the LED light sources 32 passes through a part of an optically transparent peripheral wall 26 of the drain cylinder 7 to irradiate the coating layer 28 of the photocatalyst. The photocatalyst is activated to promote decomposition and removal of dirt stuck to the inner surface of the drain cylinder 7. |
