PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically turn on a light to be interlocked with an alarm device detecting abnormality such as a fire and issuing an alarm and allow the light to be used as a flash lamp.SOLUTION: An emergency lighting system includes: a house alarm device 100 detecting an abnormality and issuing an alarm; a lighting device 100 operating with battery power and usable detachably from an installation location; and a remote controller 11 operating lighting control over the lighting device 10. The lighting device 10 turns on a lighting unit and starts alarm indication if detecting reception of an event signal indicating abnormality when the lighting unit is turned off, and turns off the lighting unit and finishes the alarm indication if subsequently detecting reception of an event signal indicating recovery from abnormality. The lighting device 10 turns on the lighting unit and starts non-alarm indication different from the alarm indication if detecting reception of a turn-on event signal, and turns off the lighting unit and finishes the non-alarm indication if subsequently the reception of a turn-off event signal is detected. |
