PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which especially halftone image density can be obtained stably without being affected by effects due to variation in environment and variation in characteristic of a photoreceptor with the lapse of time. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, an electrode 12 is installed facing a developer carrier 10, and exposure potential of a surface of a photoreceptor drum 1 is detected by forming an image patter for detection of exposure potential on the photoreceptor drum 1. The voltage is impressed to the electrode 12 based on a detected result, and the voltage impressed to the developer carrier 10 is varied to adjust toner quantity carried to the developing range. Furthermore, the voltage of an image pattern is made to be potential of a part exposed at a 20% and up to 80% ratio to the area and polarity, and size of voltage impressed to the electrode 12 is varied relatively against developing bias. |
