The purpose of the present invention is to improve the stability of a walking assisting vehicle when the walking assisting vehicle turns. A walking assisting vehicle is characterized by comprising: a base; wheels provided on the left and right of the base; a drive section for driving the wheels; a turn detection section for detecting the turn of the base; and a movement control section for controlling the drive section when detecting the turn of the base, thereby reducing the speed of the base.
