A center pipe (20) used in a plasma torch that is for plasma cutting and that has a base part and an electrode. The center pipe is inserted in the electrode and supplies cooling water to the inside of the electrode. The center pipe is provided with a pipe main body (21) and a contactor (22). The pipe main body is electrically connected, via the base part, to a power source that is outside the plasma torch. The pipe main body has a cooling water passage on the inside thereof. The pipe main body is formed from a conductor. The contactor is provided to an outer circumferential surface of the pipe main body and supplies electric current to the electrode by contacting an inner circumferential surface of the electrode. The contactor is elastic such that the contactor generates a counterforce when pressed in the radial direction of the pipe main body. The contactor is formed from a conductor.
