The present invention relates to an electrochemical element and, more specifically, to an electrochemical element having a new structure of adjusting the horizontally shortest distance from any one point inside a battery to the outside in which a refrigerant circulates to a constant distance. According to the present invention, in the electrochemical element, a horizontal distance from any one point therein to the outside in which the refrigerant circulates is adjusted to be within a certain distance, thereby releasing heat generated therein more effectively. Therefore, the electrochemical element has excellent lifespan characteristics and stability.
