The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for refining waste oil, which can collect waste oil including waste cooking oil and can provide pollution free high-efficient bio fuel and oil for a raw material of feed through processes of heating, refining, and the like. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a waste oil collection part which includes a waste oil collection unit configured to collect waste oil in large quantities and a constant amount storage unit configured to store a predetermined amount of collected waste oil in a storage container; an oil provision part which, when the storage container is provided, cuts off one surface of the storage container and supplies the waste oil; an oil heating part on which the oil provision part is installed on one surface of an upper portion thereof, which separates solid materials included in the supplied waste oil, and which eliminates moisture by heating the waste oil; an oil transfer part which is connected to the oil heating part, which transfers the heated waste oil, and in which first filtering is performed by vibration during the transfer; an impurity separation part which receives the waste oil on which the first filtering has been completed by the oil transfer part, and produces biodiesel through second filtering using centrifugal separation; and a biodiesel storage part into which the biodiesel is introduced from the impurity separation part, and in which third filtering is performed by using a precipitation. |
