A radiation dose calculating device and a calculating method thereof are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, a radiation dose measuring device comprises: a DICOM receiving unit configured to receive a DICOM file including a DICOM header from a radiation photographing device; an information extracting unit configured to extract radiation dose information and identification information with respect to the radiation photographing device from the DICOM file; and a radiation dose calculating unit configured to calculate a radiation dose with respect to each radiation photographing device by using the radiation dose information and the identification information. |
