<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further increase an output voltage of a solid oxide fuel cell by enhancing the characteristic of an air electrode which is configured to contain a ceria compound. <P>SOLUTION: In a solid oxide fuel cell, an air electrode 103 is constructed by a first layer 103 at an electrolyte 101 side and a second layer 103b which is formed on the first layer 103a to be opposite to the electrolyte 101. The first layer 103a is formed of (1-x-y)(CeO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>)-x(TbO<SB POS="POST">7/4</SB>)-y(RO<SB POS="POST">3/2</SB>). Here, R represents any of yttrium (Y), lanthanum (La), samarium (Sm) and gadolinium (Gd), and 0.02≥x≥1,0≥y≥0.4 and 0≥1-x-y<0.7 are satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
