There is an elevated system of tracks 604 above the sales floor of a shop for motorized transport units 102 to move along. There can be vertical chutes 606 with two channels each from the tracks down to the sales floor along which the units move. The tracks can be wide enough for two units to pass each other. There can be elevated charging stations 608 which do not obstruct the tracks. The units can be controlled by a central computer system and relay their position back to it. |
