A bone connector 1 that is one example of a bone connector according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with an intramedullary nail 2, a set screw 3, and an end cap 4. In addition, a lag screw 5 and a sub-pin 6 are inserted in the intramedullary nail 2 as an engagement member for engagement with a bone fragment. The end cap 4 comprises a protruding section 27, a tapered section 28, a screw groove section 29, and a head section 30. The protruding section 27 has a diameter that enables insertion thereof into a through hole 24 in the set screw 3. The tip of said protruding section 27 is formed in a hemispherical shape. The part having a hemispherical shape is in contact with the cylindrical outer circumferential surface of the sub-pin 6 and fixes the sub-pin. |
