This dust cap (30) is to be fitted onto the receptacle of a bayonet locking connector when a plug is not mated thereto, and comprises a housing (30) and a coupling (40). The housing (30) comprises: an insertion portion (31) which is on the front extremity side, and is inserted while the rotation thereof is confined by a shell (60) of the receptacle; a lid portion (32) on the back extremity side; and a cantilever (36) which is disposed between the insertion portion (31) and the lid portion (32), and extends in a direction intersecting with the insertion direction of the insertion portion (31). The coupling (40), which is mounted to be rotatable around the housing (30) and whereof the back extremity is covered by the cover portion (32), comprises a cylindrical inner peripheral surface and, on the inner peripheral surface on the front extremity side, a protrusion (41) for bayonet locking. A tip (36a) of the cantilever (36) is located in a groove (42) on the inner peripheral surface of the coupling (40). In a locked state wherein the protrusion (41) is engaged in a bayonet locking depression (61c) formed in the shell (60), the cantilever (36) is not warped. When the coupling (40) is rotated to be released from the locked state, an inner wall (42a) of the groove (42) pushes the tip (36a), thereby warping the cantilever (36). |
