PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a control so that a server retransmits providing information to a client through a network or an operator asks the server to retransmit the providing information to the client through the network, when the reception of the providing information is temporarily interrupted while the client is receiving the information from the server. SOLUTION: A client 2 is provided with a receiving amount recognizing section 2e, which recognizes the fact that prescribed amount of providing information has not been received from a server system 3 through a network within a prescribed period, and a transmitting section 2d which transmits no reception information recognized by the section 2e to the system 3 through the network. The system 3 is provided with a retransmission control server 9 which asks an information providing server 8 to retransmit providing information to the client 2 through the network based on the no reception information received from the client 2 through the network.
