Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device which may comprise: a storage unit for storing a map component configuring an electronic map; a control unit for making a control to re-configure, according to a configured condition, at least one selected map component among the map components stored in the storage unit, and generate the electronic map using the re-configured map component; and a display unit for displaying the generated electronic map on a screen.
