PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately execute engagement control of a clutch and speed change control of a transmission part in switching travel modes.SOLUTION: A control apparatus executes control processing including the steps of: switching travel modes to a parallel (Hi) via an asynchronous-switching series mode (S12) in a case where a request is made to switch to the parallel (Hi) mode (Yes for S10) with the present gear ratio being on a speed increase side of a Lo rotation synchronous gear ratio (Yes for S11) in a series-parallel (Lo) mode; and switching travel modes to the parallel (Hi) via a synchronous-switching series mode (S13) in a case where the present gear ratio is on a speed decrease side of the Lo rotation synchronous gear ratio (No for S11).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
