摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meander control device and a meander control method capable of stably conveying a belt-like body to treatment equipment which treats the belt-like body.SOLUTION: A meander control device estimates each meander amount of a belt-like body on an upstream side position P1 and a downstream side position P2 which are located between an upstream side meander correction device 2 and a downstream side meander correction device 3 for correcting meander of a belt-like body 6 subsequently conveyed and are separated into the upstream side and the downstream side, on the basis of a relative positional relation of the upstream side position P1, the downstream side position P2 and the downstream side meander correction device 3 with respect to the upstream side meander correction device 2, an inlet side meander amount of the belt-like body 6 on the downstream side meander correction device 3 and an outlet side meander amount of the belt-like body 6 on the outlet side of the upstream side meander correction device 2. A meander control target value necessary for suppressing each estimated meander amount of the belt-like body is set, and the meander correction of the belt-like body by means of the upstream side meander correction device 2 and the downstream side meander correction device 3 is controlled on the basis of the set meander control target value.
