GROUNDING DEVICE WITH ELECTROSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability without sacrificing working safety enabling checking of a result from an electroscope to confirm completion of grounding by providing an electroscope connected with a tip metal fitting and operating rod for detecting whether a feeder cable is applied with pressure or not and a grounding confirmation portion for confirming completion of grounding of a grounding line to be connected to a joint. SOLUTION: This grounding device comprises a tip metal fitting 2 formed into a hook for easily catching a feeder cable 1, a long operating rod 3 extending from the base end, and an electroscope 4 electrically connected to detect whether the feeder cable 1 is applied with pressure or not. The grounding device further comprises a grounding confirmation portion 8 connected electrically with the tip metal fitting 2 and with a joint 7 connecting a ground line 5 through engaging a joint 6 mounted at the tip of the ground line 5 for confirming that the ground line 5 is grounded. Furthermore, the grounding device comprises a grounding line hoisting portion 9 mounted at the base end part of the operating rod 3 for hoisting the ground line 5 up to the joint 7 and an alarm 10 for alarming a result from the electroscope and completion of grounding. This configuration makes it possible to confirm the result from the electroscope and completion of grounding reliably at hand.
