PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the printing inferiority or printer trouble caused by the diffusion of a paper powder or cut pieces generated when recording paper is cut. SOLUTION: The blank around the printing area of thermal recording paper 21 is cut off by cutters 31, 32 and cut pieces 39 fall to a dust box 11. A fine paper powder at a time of cutting is sucked to a filter by a fan 13 to be caught thereby and prevented from diffusing into a printer.
