PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air control valve capable of improving valve element assembling efficiency and positional accuracy of the valve element. SOLUTION: In this air control valve, the valve element 3 is inserted in an oblong hole 2a penetrating in the cross direction through a shaft member 2, the valve element is fitted and fixed to the shaft member 2 at the center X of rotating axis and the valve element 3 is supported in an intake passage by the shaft member 2. In the air control valve, the valve element 3 has a part inserted in the oblong hole 2a provided with an insert part 3a thinner than the width d1 of the oblong hole.
