摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic signal control system which traffic signal lights are controlled by using photovoltaic power generation and wind power generation to achieve energy saving, which maintains smooth and safe control of an intersection traffic flow in a state of emergency such as a power failure of commercial power supply for a reason that operation of the traffic signal light is not stopped by the power failure of commercial power supply. <P>SOLUTION: A traffic signal control system comprises a plurality of traffic signal light poles and a traffic signal control device for transmitting aspect step signals to the traffic signal light poles. Each traffic signal light pole uses electric power from power supply means by photovoltaic power generation and wind power generation, and performs lighting control of all the traffic signal lights at an intersection by lighting controlling a plurality of signal lights with a predetermined sequence, based on a stored value of a signal aspect and the aspect step signal received form the traffic signal control device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
