<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thickener granule that is excellent in dispersibility to water, prevents the generation of undissolved flour lump, quickly increases viscosity and has high balanced viscosity without deteriorating the flavor of food and drink, and a method of producing the thickener granule; and to provide the food and drink for people having a difficulty in chewing-swallowing by using the thickener granule. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the thickener granule includes steps of: obtaining a first granule by spraying a binder solution on a first raw material including a polysaccharide thickener; and coating the first granule with ≥85 mass% of dextrin for 100 mass% of the polysaccharide thickener. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
