PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow authentication between devices to be simply and surely implemented without increase in circuit scale or operation time. SOLUTION: An information system comprises a first device 1 and a second device 2. The first device 1 comprises: a first communication part for transmitting and receiving data to/from the second device 2; and a control part for requesting writing of predetermined data, requesting reading of the predetermined data after the writing of the predetermined data is completed, and permitting the second device 2 to be connected to the first device 1 itself when the write-requested data and the read data match. The second device 2 comprises: a second communication part for transmitting and receiving data to/from the first device 1; a memory for data storage; and an I/O control part for storing, in the memory, the received data according to the write-request transmitted from the first device 1, and reading the data stored in the memory according to the read-request transmitted from the first device 1.
