摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V-groove machining method and V-groove machining device which prevents a decline in dynamic accuracy of a machine. SOLUTION: This device uses a rotary tool 40 having: a rotated tool body 41; a first cutting blade 43 arranged nearly in parallel with an axis of rotation; and a blade end piece 42 with a second cutting blade 44 crossing this first one 43 at a prescribed angle. The attitude between a workpiece and the rotary tool is set so that the first cutting blade forms the prescribed angle not including 0°relative to the normal line direction of the working surface of the workpiece W, and then, the workpiece and the rotary tool are moved relatively along with rotation of a spindle, thereby machining a V-groove 51 on the working surface of the workpiece. On this occasion, the rotational speed of the rotary tool and the speed of the relative movement between the workpiece and the tool are adjusted so that undulation with a cyclic change in depth of the groove along the direction of the V-groove is formed.
