PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forklift capable of fitting a spare fork capable of simplifying the attachable/detachable work of a long fork to a standard fork, and enhancing the working efficiency. SOLUTION: A long spare fork 11 is attachably/detachably fitted to a fork 14 of a forklift 10 via a detachment preventive means 15. The detachment preventive means 15 comprises first and second racks 17, 18 provided on a base end side of a fork body 11a of the spare fork 11 and orthogonal to each other, and a pinion 19 to be engaged with the first and second racks 17, 18.
