CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for diagnosis of clutch water pump comprises a water temperature sensor, a clutch water pump, and a controller. The water temperature sensor detects the temperature of the cooling water. It is operated according to the coolant temperature and drive environment and the clutch water pump circulates the cooling water.(S102) The controller judges the diagnosis condition entry whether or not of the clutch water pump. The controller analyzes the conduct of the coolant temperature according to the on/OFF operation of the clutch water pump if the diagnosis condition. The trouble whether or not of the clutch water pump is judged.(S105) With the passage of set time controller is selected the operation on of the clutch water pump. The coolant temperature satisfies the fixed temperature range for the predetermined time. The diagnosis condition of the clutch water pump is instituted for the predetermined time as the condition that the fuel injection amount satisfies the fixed range.
