PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music instrument sound output device that easily sets a sound field matching a musical instrument for musical performance.SOLUTION: A music instrument sound output device includes: music performance output control means 100 of outputting a musical performance based upon music data corresponding to music to be played by an electric musical instrument 76; musical performance sound frequency characteristic calculation means 106 of calculating sound pressure levels by a plurality of frequency bands as frequency characteristics of a musical performance sound input from the electric musical instrument 76; and output frequency characteristic setting means 108 of setting gains by a plurality of frequency bands associated with the musical performance output based upon the music data on the basis of frequency characteristics of the musical performance sound calculated by the musical performance sound frequency characteristic calculation means 106. Consequently, frequency characteristics associated with musical performance output of music output in parallel with the musical performance by the electric musical instrument 76 can be set while characteristics, such as depth, growth, volume, etc., of a musical performance sound, by the manufacturer of the electric musical instrument 76 are reflected. |
