摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a sufficient fatigue life with little amount of machining in repair work of a steel structure.SOLUTION: A machining shape determination method is provided for determining a machining shape when cutting a stress concentration zone of a steel structure on the basis of the machining shape including a curved surface shape at least a part thereof for mitigating stress concentration of an established steel structure. The machining shape determination method includes the steps of: extracting one plane out of planes including a stress concentration zone; evaluating fatigue life, while changing a radius of a circular arc corresponding to the curved surface in the extracted plane to determine a minimum radius of the circular arc from which desired fatigue life is acquired; and determining a center position of the circular arc such that the machining shape comprising the circular arc with the minimum radius in the extracted plane includes a fatigue accumulation part as an area to which a stress more than a minimum stress causing development a fatigue crack may be applied, and a virtual crack as a virtual crack estimated to be present in machining on the basis of past crack generation results.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
