The method for connecting a rubber component with a powder-coated metal component using an adhesive system in a joint area between the metal component and rubber component, where heat is introduced to heat the joint area during the powder coating into the metal component, comprises applying a first component of a two-component adhesive system on a surface of the metal component in the joint area and drying the first component using the heat of the metal component, and applying a second component of the two-component adhesive system on the surface of the metal component in the joint area. A drying temperature of the bonding agent is cooled before applying the adhesive system on the metal component. The rubber component mounted on the metal component is heated using the oven, hot air, or by induction.
