The present invention relates to a prestressed concrete girder. After a second girder segment member and a third girder segment member are disposed on either end of a first girder segment member to which pretension is applied, post tensioning steel cable members are passed through the second girder segment member, the first girder segment member, and the third girder segment member in the lengthwise directions thereof, and post tension is applied. Thus, in a compressed instead of stretched state brought about by prestress for the central top of the girders, a greater post tension may be exerted on the overall structure. Therefore, more efficient post tensioning may be introduced so as to reduce the length and weight of girders and enable the actual manufacture of girders having a 60m or greater long-span. |
