The present invention addresses the problem of providing an RDB system having a variable structure. Provided is an RDB system for providing an RDB having a variable structure, the RDB system comprising the RDB and a processing unit for executing a process with respect to the RDB, and characterized in that: the RDB is provided with a class table for managing classes defining structure units for data storage as class records, a property table for managing properties, which are attributes associated with the respective classes, as property records related to the class records, an instance table for managing instances, which are entities that belong to the respective classes, as instance records related to the class records, and an entity value table for managing entity values indicating values held by the instances for the respective properties as entity value records related to the instance records and the property records; and the processing unit is provided with a class management means for managing the class records, a property management means for managing the property records, an instance management means for managing the instance records, and an entity value management means for managing the entity value records. |
