OPTICAL LINE TERMINATION APPARATUS OF GIGABIT-PASSIVE OPTICAL NETWORK SYSTEM FOR WDM HYBRID-PON

PURPOSE: An OLT(Optical Line Termination) device of a G-PON(Gigabit-Passive Optical Network) system for a WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) hybrid-PON is provided to solve the interface restriction of an upper metro terminal. CONSTITUTION: A channel module(130) includes a MAC(Media Access Control) and a transceiver. The transceiver is connected to a plurality of ONUs(Optical Network Units) through several optical links with a WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) method which multiplexes a wavelength according to a subscriber or service. A management processor unit includes a CPU(Central Processing Unit). The CPU executes an L2 protocol and an L3 protocol and controls a gigabit switch module(120) and the channel module.
