PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which can easily manufacture an intake valve having fins for imparting a swirl component to intake air which flows into a cylinder.SOLUTION: An intake valve 1 of an internal combustion engine comprises a valve body 2 having a stem part 21 and an umbrella part 22, and a guide member 3 which guides intake air flowing into a cylinder from an intake port in a peripheral direction of the umbrella part 22. The guide member 3 has an attachment part 31 which is attached to the stem part 21 of the valve main body 2, and a plurality of fins 35 the respective one ends of which are connected to the attachment part 31, and which radially extend from the attachment part 31.
