PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic composition capable of being burnt at low temperature of 1230°C or less and having volume temperature property satisfying EIA standard X8R property.SOLUTION: There is provided a dielectric ceramic composition containing barium titanate as a main component and oxide of Al, oxide of Si, oxide of Y and oxide of Yb as accessory components, where content of the oxide of Al is 0.25 to 1 mol in terms of AlObased on 100 mol of the barium titanate and content of the oxide of Si is 3 to 4 mol in terms of SiObased on 100 mol of the barium titanate.SELECTED DRAWING: None
