The wireless control apparatus includes a module unit to generate a control signal for controlling an operation of an electronic appliance; and a communication module detachably coupled to the module unit to receive the control signal generated from the module unit and transmit the received control signal to the electronic appliance through a communication network.

1. A wireless control apparatus comprising:
a module unit to generate a control signal for controlling an operation of an electronic appliance; and a communication module detachably coupled to the module unit to receive the control signal generated from the module unit and transmit the received control signal to the electronic appliance through a communication network, wherein the communication module includes a mode select pin to select a control scheme of the module unit among the control scheme including to a UART scheme and a PWM scheme, and wherein the mode select pin outputs a high signal or a low signal according to the control scheme of the module unit.
